Role: Lead Designer
This game was my first time leading a large group (~30 people in total). I wrote Design Documentation, assigned tasks to the other designers, led communication between the Design Team and the other teams on the project, and helped ensure all of the different work was kept to a consistent standard of quality. Additionally, I led playtests and helped create a cohesive list of features to implement as playtesters suggested them, along with appending the Design Document to include these new features. The most difficult part of my role as Lead Designer was keeping things organized with such a massive amount of people. There was a bit of difficulty at first, but the group really started coming together after establishing an asset list. Using that, we could easily keep track of what needed to be made, if anyone had been assigned it, the progress, and any other notes we needed for a specific asset.
